High-quality screen printing for hollow bodies
Screen printing is a widely used printing process known for its high opacity, distinctive tactile feel, sharp image quality, and brilliant results. During screen printing, ink is transferred onto the surface of the product through a screen using a squeegee. In areas where no ink is to be applied, the fine openings in the screen mesh are blocked by a stencil, preventing the ink from passing through.
Our I Series enables the decoration of a wide variety of materials, including glass, plastic, and aluminum. Depending on the application, products can be decorated using either UV inks or ceramic inks. UV inks are fully cured directly after application inside the machine using a UV curing station. For ceramic printing, heated steel screens are used to ensure proper ink transfer during the printing process. Final curing, however, takes place outside the machine in a firing oven.

Printing on conical items has been a particular challenge up to now: Until now, jars, for example, had to be divided into several printing areas and printed separately in several stations.
With the further development of ISIMAT screen printing technology, this is now a thing of the past. Thanks to a new printing unit for conical articles, these can now be decorated completely and with high precision in just one single screen printing station.
All movements - perfectly synchronized
In this specially developed station, the movements of five servo axes are perfectly synchronized:
- Squeegee axis
- Screen axis
- Screen rotation axis
- Pick-up axis
- Pivoting the pick-up
The result: Uniform, razor-sharp print images even on challenging geometries.
In addition, conical screen printing offers all the advantages of classic screen printing - from precise ink transfer to high process reliability. The new unit can also be flexibly integrated, thus expanding the design freedom in the decoration of glass, plastic and aluminum articles.
