Flexo printing stands for uniform color reproduction, high speed and precise results - ideal for decorating tubes and sleeves. The flexographic printing unit developed by ISIMAT transfers the ink directly to the surface using a special anilox roller and a servo-controlled printing plate - for a clean print image with minimal maintenance.
Dynamic Roller Positioning (DRP system) - precision down to the last detail
The patented DRP system eliminates the so-called mandrel impact in plastic tubes and sleeves - and thus enables high-quality, uniform flexographic printing.
Each mandrel has a minimal radial run-out, which can change the distance to the flexo roller. This causes the print image to be squashed or smeared in some areas.
The dynamic roller positioning system compensates for this effect by actively tracking the flexo unit. This means that the mandrel impact has virtually no effect - for a perfect print result in every position.
