The metallization of conical articles was previously almost impossible - CiF now makes it possible efficiently, economically and precisely. This further development of the proven inLINE FOILING process enables high-quality metallization of conical glass or plastic shapes - e.g. cups, bottles or jars - directly in the production process for the first time. A specially adapted unwinding process overcomes the technical limitations of conical geometries. The foil unit swivels with the article during the foil transfer phase so that a constant rotation speed is always guaranteed. The result: Brilliant, crease-free metallic effects on diameters of different widths - a real highlight.

Digital inLINE FOILING (DiF) - 360° metallization in a new dimension
With DiF - Digital inLINE FOILING, tube decoration reaches a new dimension: For the first time, complete 360° metallization on tubes is possible - directly in the process, highly precise and digitally controlled.
This further development of the classic inLINE FOILING replaces the screen printing adhesive application with a digital adhesive application directly in the transfer unit. This produces metallized all-round decors of the highest quality. At the same time, a printing station is freed up, which can be used for additional special effects or color enhancements.
