ISIMAT’s Recent History - Milestones
1996
The first screen printing machine with a 3-axes servo positioning system is shipped to England
1999
The TS 6090, a screen printing machine for direct printing onto flexible tubes is launched; the TS 6090 featured a rotary indexing table. The machine set a new standard for productivity and colour to colour registration accuracy in screen printing onto flexible tubes.
2001
A 2-colour servo-based screen printing machine is launched; the fixtures on the rotary indexing table are individually driven by servomotors.
2002
A new production hall of more than 1,000 m2 with new office space of 280 qm almost doubles the space for machine assembly and offices
2004
A second generation of the TS 6090 is launched at K 2004; an indexing ring is used instead of the indexing table to increase the support for the mandrels
2006
A 6-colour servo-based screen printing machine for glass decoration with thermoplastic inks is launched. Each fixture on the indexing ring is driven by a servomotor and each printing station has three servomotors; synchronising the movements of four servomotors during printing enables the printing of wrap-arounds onto oval bottles.
2008
The first 7-colour screen printing machine for decorating glass with UV inks is shipped.
2009
Launch of the TH 8130, a hybrid printing machine for flexo and screen printing directly onto flexible tubes.
2010
Strategic alliance with Hinterkopf GmbH. Both companies continue as independent companies; but for flexible tubes, both companies’ development and manufacturing capabilities for
tube finishing lines will be aligned. ISIMAT is taking on the lead role in marketing finishing lines for flexible tubes.
